My name is Kristen Gearin and I
am the PCPO Representative for Tigard Playschool. My daughter, Kaitlyn, is enjoying her second
year at Tigard Playschool as a big Pre-K kid and my son, Andrew, is in 1st
grade. Our experiences at TPI have been
wonderful! My son was in Pre-K and has
been very successful in kindergarten and now in 1st grade. I will be sad to leave TPI at the end of the
school year, but I know Kaitlyn will be prepared and ready to head off to
kindergarten!
Parent Child Preschools of
Oregon is a nonprofit organization of 65 co-op preschools, which organized in
1956. PCPO exists so that member schools
can work together to assist each other in providing high standards of
developmentally appropriate preschool education and involvement for children,
parents and teachers.
PCPO meetings are held every
third Tuesday of the month from 9:30 - 11:00 am at the Cedar Hills Co-op. If anyone is interested in attending the
meetings you are welcome to come!
Childcare is not available at the meetings.

Books
for Kids Book Drive - We
are collecting books for kids in need.
Please donate new or gently used children's books in the box outside the
classroom. I will be collecting these
books and taking them to the next meeting on Tuesday, November 28th.
