We kicked off 2007 with great fun in the Fire Station! Lots of fires were put out and many lives were saved. We also learned about dinosaurs. Our class made a dinosaur habitat as a group project. First we talked about what a dinosaur would need in order to live. Then we built a place for dinosaurs to eat, drink, and sleep. The large group habitat was similar to the smaller, individual ones the children brought home. We also made dinosaur eggs and everyone loved hatching them. How did Teacher Susie get those dinosaurs in the eggs?
This month, we have been enjoying the Animal Hospital. We have been diagnosing what is wrong with the animals, and then taking care of them. Teacher Susie has also introduced the Book Bags and Phonics Bags. Our Valentine celebration is right around the corner. Be sure to bring 20 unaddressed valentine cards to school by February 12. We are going to miss Christopher King, as he will be spending more special time with Mommy and enjoying the pleasures of just being 3! We welcome Angelina and Gabriella McGrath to MA-10.
